Gaiopolis Campus
The Gaiopolis complex features ceremonial amphitheaters, a modern library, an organized conference center, and a student restaurant. Within the campus, there is a student dormitory complex, and students have access to extensive sports facilities, including an indoor gymnasium with stands, strengthening equipment, a medical office, dance and martial arts rooms, as well as outdoor fields for football, basketball, volleyball, and tennis. In 2023, the sports facilities underwent extensive upgrades.
UTH Libraries
The Library and Information Centre (LIC) supports educational and research activities, manages specialized information, and participates in cultural and educational initiatives. The LIC operates as a single unit of academic services and consists of the Central Library in Volos with branches in the cities of Volos, Larisa, Trikala, Karditsa and Lamia, all of which are administratively subordinate to the Central Library, forming a unified whole in terms of human resources, as well as policies concerning development and fund management.

Lab Space and Equipment
The Laboratories involved in this MSc are fully equipped to perform a wide range of analyses and techniques, from basic chemical analysis to in vitro rumen fermentation techniques and omics technologies. These guarantees the “hands on learning” approach of the educational part of the MSc as well as the performance of top-level research.
Gaiopolis Dairy Farm
The Gaiopolis campus holds one of the most modern experimental and educational dairy farms of the country. Facilities include calve rearing, heifers and cows providing all necessary livestock units to realize training but also to perform research projects.
